Question What higher end/luxury brand is good for everyday purses?
I want to invest in some nice leather purses that will last. Even though I rotate out my current 'stock' seasonally, I feel like they fall part within a year or two and I'm just done with cheap purses. I'm hoping the life of a higher end/luxury purse will be double to triple that. I have a LV that was my mom's and it looks amazing after over a decade. Can anyone recommend brands and/or specific lines? (or those to avoid) There are lots of retail stores and outlets in my area, so pretty much any brand, I'm not picky, though I have been eyeing COACH and BCBG purses...
Best Answer TBH, (full) leather purses will last IF you take care of them. And I suggest you get a black/very dark coloured purses because lighter coloured ones will stain if it rains or transfer from your clothing. I think coach bags are more seasonal and they're not as classic as brands like LV. If you think you're not very good in taking care of bags, DON'T get ones with soft leather as I'm sure it will fall apart and scratch just as quickly. my suggestions if you're careless on bags: - LV Speedy/Neverfull in Damier Ebene (because it is dark brown and the bag is not fully made of leather, just the straps). the actual bag itself is made of coated canvas so it will withstand scratches and rain and you can wipe them with a wet towel if it gets dirty (you can't do this with full leather bags, you have to get special cleaning thing). Plus, this one will never go out of style (Audrey Hepburn uses speedy bag :D ) - Prada saffiano (it looks so structured and pretty but it's made out of leather). The leather though is processed in a way so it doesn't scratch and withstand more use than softer leathers and the bag has studs on the bottom to protect the bag. - Longchamp le pliage. It's not really a purse, more of a tote bag but this one is good too for everyday use because you can fold it and there's many colours. Plus it's very cheap for a designer bag.

Here the thing I have ask question but I still confuse. I am flying to Europe in March and planning a purse and wallet from my favorite designer Louis Vuitton. However something new has been brought to my attention because I been focusing on VAT refund that I forget about US customs charges. Since I am buying it myself and not having it imported or shipped will I have to pay and if so how much? For total of both items it is 945 euro The best answers gets ten points
